How to fix a 404 error on your blog page in Presence®

How to resolve a 404 error caused by a missing Blog Detail page in the Website Builder.

Overview

A 404 error on a blog page usually means the Blog Detail page hasn't been set up in the Website Builder. Adding it resolves the issue.

How to fix the error

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. Click the page dropdown in the top-left corner and look for a Blog Detail page.
4. If no Blog Detail page exists:
   • Click Add New or the + at the bottom of the page list
   • Set Page Type to Blog Detail
   • Fill in the Page Name, Page Path, and SEO Title
   • Click Add, then Save
5. Add the new blog page to your navigation menu so visitors can find it. See [How to customize and manage your website navigation menus in Presence®].
