Can I add a background video to a property page in Presence®?

Background video headers are only available on the main website homepage — here's what you can use on property pages instead.

Overview

Background video in the header or hero position is not available on property pages in Presence®. This is a homepage-only feature. The Homepage Opening Video with Sound element is a specialized hero element built specifically for the main website homepage — property pages use a different page structure that does not support a full-bleed background video in the header position.

Video options for property pages

You can still add video content to a property page using the following elements:

• Property Video — Embeds a video player directly on the property detail page. Ideal for property tours or walkthroughs. This displays as a video player within the page content, not as a background
• Virtual Tour — Embeds an interactive 360° tour from a third-party platform (e.g., Matterport). Available on property detail pages only
• Featured Video — A prominent video element that works on any page type, including property showcase pages. Use this for a featured tour or highlight reel

Can a property website have a video header?

Property websites in Presence® use the same page structure as property detail pages on your main site, so background video headers are not available on property websites either. You can add a Property Video or Featured Video element within the page body to showcase video content prominently.

Can I use a video as the header image on a property page?

No — property page headers use static images, not video. To display video content prominently on a property page, add a Property Video or Featured Video element near the top of the page in the Website Builder.
