The Presence® Platform sends email notifications for some activity types, but not all. The most important thing to know: Smart Tasks do not send email alerts. To stay on top of these items, you need to log in and check the platform directly.

What does not send email alerts

• Smart Tasks — Smart Tasks created by AI CRM do not send email alerts. They appear in your Tasks list inside the Presence® Platform and must be reviewed by logging in.
• Contact activity updates — When a contact views a listing, saves a search, or revisits your site, no email is sent to you.

Tip: Make it a habit to check your Tasks page daily so you don't miss time-sensitive Smart Tasks.

What does send email alerts

• New lead submissions — When a contact submits a form on your site (such as a home search sign-up, contact form, or valuation request), Luxury Presence sends an email notification to the addresses listed in Settings → My Profile → Lead Alert Emails.
• Lead routing assignment notifications — If your account uses lead routing rules, the agent a lead is assigned to receives an email when a new lead is routed to them.
• Listing alert emails for contacts — Contacts who have saved searches may receive automated listing alert emails based on their saved search criteria. These are sent to the contact, not to you.

Note: Only addresses listed in Lead Alert Emails receive new lead notifications. If you are not getting new lead emails, check that your email address is added there.

How to check your lead alert email settings

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click your name or initials in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings from the menu.
4. Under My Profile, find the Lead Alert Emails field.
5. Add or update the email addresses that should receive new lead notifications.
6. Click Save.

How to check your Smart Tasks

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. On your homepage, look for the Actions widget to see high-priority items.
3. To see all tasks, click Tasks from the left-hand navigation menu.
4. Review and complete tasks from this view — completed tasks are removed automatically.

FAQs

Can I get email alerts for Smart Tasks?

Smart Tasks do not currently trigger email notifications. You can view all Smart Tasks by navigating to Tasks in the left-hand menu of the Presence® Platform. Reviewing your Tasks page regularly ensures you don't miss AI-generated recommendations.

I'm not receiving new lead emails — what should I check?

First confirm that your email address is listed under Settings → My Profile → Lead Alert Emails. Also check your spam or junk folder. If your address is listed and no emails are arriving, contact our support team for further troubleshooting.

Who receives an email when a new lead comes in?

New lead email notifications are sent only to the email addresses listed in Lead Alert Emails under your Profile Settings. If lead routing rules are active on your account, the assigned agent also receives a routing notification email.
