Overview

In December 2024, Instagram deprecated the Basic Display API. Any Instagram feed integrations relying on the old API stopped working. To restore your feed, you need to re-authorize your Instagram connection and ensure you're using a professional account (Creator or Business) — personal accounts are no longer supported.

What changed

Instagram's API update requires all accounts displaying Instagram content on external websites to use a professional account. Personal Instagram accounts can no longer be connected to third-party platforms like Luxury Presence.

How to restore your Instagram feed

Step 1: Upgrade to a professional account (if needed)

If your Instagram account is a personal account, upgrade to a Creator or Business account before reconnecting:

1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
2. Tap the menu icon and go to Settings.
3. Select Account, then tap Switch to Professional Account.
4. Choose Creator or Business and follow the prompts.
